Skills Assessments and Knowledge Statements
As part of our continuous improvement processes to support your study we will be making some changes to the policy on skills assessments. From January 2008 if you do not hand in your knowledge statement by the hand in date as indicated on your scheme of work you will have until the end of your contract to submit. If the knowledge statement or any other piece of assessed work are not submitted by that date you will be accredited for the units you have passed and will be provided with a certificate from the CIPD to acknowledge this. If you wish to submit your knowledge statement after this date you will be required to attend a workshop to carry out the skills assessment again and you will incur a charge. Similarly if you wish to submit a written assessment a charge will be applied for marking.
