BIFM Revision Workshops 2008
Benefit from our experience of successfully preparing students for BIFM exams. Open to all, a general examination technique workshop will be held in London on 2nd October 2008. Workshops for the Part 1 and Part 2 Case Study examinations will take place on the 5th November and 19th November 2008 for the December 2008 examination series. Study Revision Tip - Here's a revision tip which a student has found helpful in the examinations

1. First go through the previous years examiners reports and study what they were looking for against each competence/question
2. Then put your pre-prepared answer plans on cards
3. Also add the comments about good answers from the examiners reports.

It will take a bit of time to do this – maybe a couple of days for each examination module. This strategy is really useful in the exams themselves as you could instantly recall a sample answer plan for say outsourcing the catering contract or project management. The exam answer plan cards acted not only as revision notes in the last minute reading before the exam (on the train, at the airport, at the hotel, in the coffee bar!) The mini answer plans could be recalled from the short term memory on the day.
