Question: Where can I get up to day legal information to keep my legislation knowledge up to date? I have heard the FMs need to know a bit about some 300 to 400 different bits of legislation in managing working environments. With so much to learn, and more being added all the time, I need one place to look for an overview.
Answer:
A good source of information the free e-bulletin from Workplace Law. As a BIFM member, you may already get this, but if not, then see below for details. There is also a full access version too, but this costs money. There may be a possibility of a student discount, as negotiations with Workplace Law are taking place. Watch this space.
